The Endgame (最終局面, Saishū Kyokumen, "Final Phase") is the four hundred and sixty-second chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Kobayakawa realises that he is falling behind in the corners, and wonders how an FD can be so fast. He remembers that there is a section near the end of the course that will slow Keisuke down, and plans to catch up and force a second race. The narrator explains that while racing tracks are designed to be fair for racers, public roads are not. It is difficult to reach the full potential of your car, and often the race comes down to which driver can make best use of their vehicle. Kobayakawa loses sight of Keisuke, but believes he is right around the corner.
