Call Me Mika (よびすて, Yobisute, "Without Honorifics") is the four hundred and eighty-ninth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

The Eight-Six passes an FD climbing Akina, thrilling its occupants, as they believe that Takumi is the one driving.

Bunta returns to the Fujiwara Tofu Store, and is impressed by the work that Project D have done. He wonders if the Eight-Six will be able to take Takumi as far as he needs to go. He thinks there might be one last thing he can do for him.

Takumi and Mika arrive back in Saitama, and Takumi bids her farewell. She stops him, asking if he can just call her "Mika" going forward, without the honorific. Although flustered, Takumi agrees, which pleases Mika.

A few days later, Itsuki is surprised to see Takumi turn up at the gas station in the Impreza, but Takumi explains that the Eight-Six is being worked on by Matsumoto. Iketani is surprised to see him there so late, and Takumi tells him that he had to go pick up a DVD with footage of Project D's next course.

On Akagi, one of Kenta's friends notices an FC heading towards Lake Akagi, and wonders if it was Ryosuke. Kenta doesn't see, but doubts it was him, as Ryosuke has retired from racing.
