The Fujiwara Zone (藤原ゾーン, Fujiwara Zōn, "Fujiwara Zone") is the four hundred and ninety-eighth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Kenta tells Keisuke not to joke around, as he gets scared easily, but Keisuke tells him that he isn't talking about ghosts.
Kai says that driving on the mountain passes feels closer to gymkhana than normal racing, as he is too used to racing at higher speed on the circuits.
Keisuke tells Kenta about Ryosuke's concept of the "Fujiwara Zone", and claims to see it during their practice runs. He isn't quite able to explain it, but says that it only seems to happen with Takumi and his Eight-Six.
As Takumi rounds a corner, he lifts his inner wheel over the gutter, which Kai notes. He is impressed with Takumi's handling, but doubts his speed.
Bunta questions what Ken means by Takumi "surpassing him", as he thinks someone in their 20s claiming that would have to be full of themselves. He chooses to ask Ken a question.
