Keisuke Takes Off (啓介発進, Keisuke Hasshin, "Keisuke Starts") is the five hundred and fifteenth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Ken tells Bunta that he has no idea how much Kai has gone through to become a professional, and he doesn't understand how he could lose a street race. He storms off home, which humors Bunta.

In Saitama, Mika practices at the golf range. She receives a text from Takumi, telling her that he won his race. She celebrates his victory, confusing her father.

The FD is prepped for the next race. Matsumoto congratulates Takumi on his victory, but he says that without Ryosuke's planning he would have panicked. He says that he feels like his opponents braking has been much better than his since they came to Kanagawa. Matsumoto thinks he used to rely on his superior braking to carry him, and now it isn't carrying him anymore, but he is still winning races.
