Wet Roads (ウェットコンディション, Wetto Kondishon, "Wet Condition") is the five hundred and fifty-first chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Takumi and Keisuke pass each other on their practice runs.
Fumihiro, Tomiguchi and Matsumoto discuss the cars tuning. Matsumoto says that the Eight-Six is all ready to go, but that course will be tough on the FD. Tomiguchi agrees with him, mentioning that if it rains they will have to adjust the suspension and tires.
The next morning, rain finally falls over Kanagawa. Fumihiro hopes that it either dries up or leaves the road soaked, as mixed conditions would be unpredictable. Keisuke and Takumi sit eating bento boxes, and Fumihiro is surprised that the weather doesn't bother them. Keisuke says that his opponent will be racing under the same conditions, and he would prefer the challenge. Takumi says that the rain has never bothered him when driving the Eight-Six as he just drives like normal, which annoys Keisuke and surprises everyone else. In retaliation Keisuke steals part of Takumi's lunch.
