A Quiet Beginning (静かなる序盤, Shizuka Naru Joban, "Quiet Beginning") is the five hundred and fifty-eighth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Ikeda believes that a battle is about racing against yourself, your own weaknesses, not your opponent.
Junichi remembers when Ikeda had first explained his Zero Theory to him, and how it had started as a way to address the number of accidents that happen in the street racing scene. Ikeda believes that the drivers do not know how to properly communicate with their cars. He thinks if they listen to the feedback the car gives from their driving they will be able to perform better. Junichi doubts that it would make them faster, but Ikeda believes that without communicating harmoniously with your car you can't get faster.
Keisuke is surprised by how calm Ikeda seems to be, and imagines he is very skilled, as he wouldn't accelerate as he is under the poor conditions.
