Twenty Percent Chance Of Victory (Part 2) (勝算20パーセント (後編), Shōsan 20 Pāsento (Kōhen), "20 Percent Chance Of Victory (Continued)") is the six hundred and eighteenth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Keisuke tells Ryosuke that Sidewinder have lookouts all along the course recording their times, and asks if they should try and throw them off. Ryosuke instructs him to focus entirely on his practice, as they don't have enough time to try any tricks. Keisuke asks Tomiguchi to change his suspension and refuel. Takumi arrives, and Fumihiro asks him if he noticed the people with stopwatches. Takumi says that he did, but that they never seemed to start timing him, which surprises Fumihiro. Ryosuke says that he imagines both Keisuke and Takumi are right.
Somewhere else on the course, Minagawa comments on the people timing Project D, saying that timing them per section is likely something that Kubo had suggested. Kai doubts it will work too well on public roads, but notes the drastic improvement Sidewinder has seen since Kubo joined them. Minagawa thinks Sidewinder is winning when it comes to data, and that it will lead to their victory in the end. He doubts even Katagiri would stand a chance against them.
