Relaxation (Part 2) (休息 (後編), Kyūsoku (Kōhen), "Relaxation (Continued)") is the six hundred and twenty-second chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
At 3PM at Project D's cabin, Fumihiro wakes up, and is surprised to find that Ryosuke is already awake, having gotten up early to do some work in the quiet. Fumihiro decides to make pasta for breakfast, and Ryosuke laments that it will be the last of it he eats, which makes Fumihiro joke that he could make it at his house. Ryosuke tells Fumihiro what he has learned about Kubo; he used to be a rally racer when he was younger, before joining a professional racing team. He eventually went independent, opening his own shop making demo cars and aftermarket parts.
Sakamoto, Wataru and Nobuhiko Akiyama arrive in Kanagawa. Wataru is happy that the weather is nice, as it means Project D will be able to go all out in their final races. Sakamoto thinks that rain would have given them a better shot, but Wataru thinks Project D's momentum is too great for them to fail. Nobuhiko thinks Wataru is underestimating Sidewinder.
