Plot[]

At 4PM at their home, Shinji begs his mother to call Go and cancel his race, but she refuses, telling him to do it himself if he is scared. He insists he isn't scared, that its just inconvinient for him, and he doesn't understand why people enjoy racing. His mother tells him that he has to show up, whether he is racing or not.

At 6:30PM, Go is irritated by how friendly Keisuke and Ryosuke seem. Kubo approaches him and tells him that they have tuned the NSX based on the data they gathered on the FDs performance during the races and practice. He says that if Go and Keisuke are on equal skill levels then Go has a 15 second advantage on the course. Go says that 15 seconds should be plenty, and he refuses to lose to a delinquent from Gunma. He drives off in his NSX, surprising the crowd.
