Synced Up (Part 2) (シンクロ (後編), Shinkuro (Kōhen), "Synchronization (Continued)") is the six hundred and forty-ninth chapter of Initial D.

Plot

Go notices that he is being drawn into Keisuke's rhythm. He wonders when Keisuke will break the rhythm and they will enter into a full battle. He knows that if he can't respond to that change in time, he will lose the race. The race passes Toshiya Joshima and Kozo Hoshino of Purple Shadow. They're impressed by the skill on show by the two drivers, and Hoshino is reminded of his battle with Keisuke on Mt. Tsukuba. He wishes he could follow behind them, but Joshima doubts his GT-R could keep up with them when they're at full sprint.
