Pursuing Shinji (Part 2) (先行するシンジを追え (後編), Senkō suru shinji o oe (Kōhen), "On Shinji's Tail (Continued)") is the six hundred and seventy-second chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Kubo tells Mrs. Inui that there's no need to apologise, as Shinji did eventually show. Mrs. Inui worries that Shinji will do something stupid, but Kubo says Shinji is their best downhill driver, so she doesn't have to worry.
Following behind Shinji, Takumi realises just how fast his opponent is.
Nakazato says that horsepower is usually irelevant on the downhill, as the race normally comes down to weight and handling. Shingo notes that Takumi used this to his advantage in his races with both of them. He thinks there is something different about this race.
