Super Drift! (決着!スーパードリフト, Ketchaku! Sūpādorifuto) is the nineteenth Act of Initial D First Stage.
The episode is the second half of Takumi Fujiwara's battle with Impact Blue.
Synopsis[]
The finish line is in sight on Usui! Mako and Sayuki know the course like the back of their hands; Takumi might need a miracle if he is to claim victory against the girls.
Plot[]
Both cars attack the C=121 corner at high speed, with Sayuki screaming as Mako attacks the corner. Sayuki is amazed that the Eight-Six is copying them, and wonders if he'll be able to get through the tight exit without crashing. The two cars exit the corner, with Takumi hitting the optimal line, something even Mako wasn't able to do. After seeing this, Sayuki begins to lose hope of victory.

Sayuki angry at Mako after being called a ballast
Sayuki doesn't give Mako instructions for the corner until they enter it. Mako becomes annoyed with her when she tells her that the race is already over. She calls her dead weight, and says that she won't give up until the very end. Sayuki eventually pulls it together, and starts giving instructions to Mako.

Natsuki as seen with "Papa"
Elsewhere, we see Natsuki on the way to her house with "Papa" in his Mercedes-Benz. Upon arriving, Natsuki thanks "Papa" for the time they had together that night, and "Papa" then asks when she'll be able to see him again, to which she notifies him that school is about to begin as the summer comes to an end.
Back at Usui Pass, Mako and Takumi are still battling it out. Before the entry of the corner, Sayuki tells Mako that there is no oncoming car and tells Mako to drift as she enters it. Mako realises that focusing on Takumi has messed up her rhythm, and decides not to look into her mirrors again.

Iketani thinks about Mako
At the starting line, Kenji who is currently with Itsuki wonders if Takumi is still chasing Mako, and states that the latter is in a dangerous situation if he's doing so, and also believes it should be over already. Itsuki then tells Kenji to calm down and believes that if Takumi can't overtake Mako on the 1st round, he'll beat her on the 2nd round, to which Kenji responds that it's difficult for Takumi do such action, and is amazed that the race is still ongoing.
As for Iketani, he is currently spaced out about Mako whilst standing beside his Nissan Silvia, to which Kenji asks if he was spaced out about Mako and tells him that it was obvious, but Iketani sarcastically says he wasn't doing what he thought of. Kenji then tells Iketani that he doesn't need to hide the thought, as he believes that Mako is a sweet girl, and believes that the two should go have fun together after the race.

Mako battling it out with Takumi
Back at the race, Takumi and Mako are currently battling it out. Just before the latter enters a corner, Sayuki instructs her to drift upon corner entry. As the race continues, Sayuki informs Mako that there's an oncoming car, but that they won't pass it for three turns, and also instructs Mako to enter the corner at full speed, to which Mako complies with upon corner entry. Both cars pass the oncoming car, and pick their speed back up again. Sayuki realises Mako is pushing the car too hard, but chooses not to tell her so that she doesn't break her rhythm. Takumi then struggles to keep up with the new pace of the SilEighty, and believes that if he goes any faster, he'll be exceeding his limit, but as of the moment he is currently wearing out all four of his tires and believes he may not make it through the race.

Takumi realizes Mako is entering the corner with too much speed
As both drivers are about to attack the corner, Sayuki tells Mako that it is their last chance to pull away from the Eight-Six, and with no upcoming car in sight, Sayuki instructs Mako to enter the upcoming corner as fast as possible. Takumi notices that Mako is entering the corner at a high speed, and decides to slow down, making Sayuki wonder why Takumi's pace slowed down. As she puts her attention back to the road ahead of them, she realises that Mako is entering the next corner too hard.Takumi narrowly avoids colliding with the spinning SilEighty, and comes to a stop just after them.

Mako and Sayuki's past
Mako and Sayuki admit defeat, and Mako tells her that she felt like she did when they first started racing. Sayuki tells her that she had given her best performance right up until the last turn, and that she'll support her in whatever she wants to do next.
The two cars return to the start line, and the Speedstars wait to hear bad news upon seeing the SilEighty in front of the Eight-Six. However, they're shocked to hear that Takumi had won as mentioned by Sayuki.
The group go and get drinks, and Takumi modestly says that all he did was keep up with them. Sayuki tells him that he's got skill, especially considering that he hadn't driven on the course before.
