The Honda Integra Type R (DC2) is part of the third generation of the Honda Integra. It is often known simply as the Integra or as the Integra Type R.

The Honda Integra is a line of cars manufactured by Honda from 1985 to 2001. Third generation of the Integra was released from 1993 to 2001. In 1995 Honda introduced the Integra Type R, a performance model of the Integra. The Integra Type R was considered one of the best sports cars at release, as well as one of the best front wheel drive cars.

- Smiley Sakai drives a Championship White Honda Integra Type R DC2 as a student of the Todo School.
- Takeshi Nakazato has an impromptu battle with two guys in an Integra Type R DC2. In the anime, it is changed to a Nissan Silvia K's (S13).
- A Silver Honda Integra Type R DC2 can be seen with the Todo School in Fourth Stage - Act 3.

Cars can be upgraded with different parts, both internal and external, to make the car perform better. The early games offer the player a choice between several courses of upgrades that they would like their car to have, whereas later games give a wider range of options, with players being able to pick what upgrades they want whenever they want them.
