Initial D Battle Stage 2 is the seventh installment of the anime adaptation of the Initial D series. It features every race from Fourth Stage, along with several races that were in the manga. Unlike the first Battle Stage, Battle Stage 2 doesn't reanimate any of its battles.

Trivia[]

  • For Takumi's race against Joshima, out of the 8 rounds, only rounds 2 and 7 were shown in the OVA. This was presumably because of time constraints and the possible worry that the actual ending for round 8 would have been underwhelming. However, the outcome was still shown in an end via typing epilogue.
