Initial D Battle Stage 2 is a DVD video release for the compilation OVA Initial D Battle Stage 2. It had two different DVD releases: the first was the retail DVD, released on May 30, 2007, followed by the rental DVD.[1] Both releases consist of the same contents with the differences being the cover art of the DVD.
The retail release peaked at number twenty-five on the Oricon DVD Chart with an estimated 3,550 units sold in its first week.[2] It remained on the charts for a total of 3 weeks, with total sales estimated at 5,907 units.[3][4]
