Initial D Extra Stage 2 ~Green Departure~ is a DVD video release for the OVA Initial D Extra Stage 2, and was released on December 5, 2008 by Avex Mode and Wedge Link for both retail and rental markets on DVD.^[1] It was released on the same day as the Initial D Extra Stage Box which include both Extra Stages.

The release peaked at number sixty-four on the Oricon DVD Chart with an estimated 3,123 units sold in its first week, with total sales estimated at 4,800 units.^[2]^[3]^[4]
