Initial D Extra Stage ~Beyond Impact Blue...~ is a video release for the two-part OVA Initial D Extra Stage. It had two release formats: it was first released on VHS on February 21, 2001, and later on DVD on March 22, 2001.[1]
The DVD release peaked at number fifteen on the Oricon DVD Chart with an estimated 6,253 units sold in its first week.[2] It remained on the charts for a total of 4 weeks, with total sales estimated at 12,747 units.[3][4] Meanwhile, the VHS release peaked at number thirty-four on the Oricon Sell-Video Top 50 Charts with an estimated 591 units units sold during its first and only week on the charts[5][6]
