Initial D Fourth Stage Vol. 2 is the second video release for Initial D Fourth Stage. It saw three different releases: two rental versions on VHS and DVD, and one retail release on DVD. This release includes Acts 3 through 4 of the anime and was initially available on August 6, 2004, for rentals and on August 18, 2004, for retail.[2] The release features the second battle of the Project D arc, between Takumi Fujiwara vs Daiki Ninomiya.
The retail release peaked at number six on the Oricon DVD Chart with an estimated 20,110 units sold in its first week.[3][4] It remained on the charts for a total of 12 weeks, with total sales estimated at 36,693 units.[5][6]
