Initial D Fourth Stage Vol. 9 is the ninth video release for Initial D Fourth Stage. It includes Acts 17 and 18 of the anime and had three different releases: it was first released for rental on both VHS and DVD on October 14, 2005, and later released for retail on DVD on October 19, 2005.[1] The release features the second half of the battle between Takumi Fujiwara and Ichijo.
The retail release peaked at number four on the Oricon DVD Chart with an estimated 14,882 units sold in its first week.[2][3] It remained on the charts for a total of 5 weeks, with total sales estimated at 23,268 units.[4][5]
