Initial D Second Stage Vol. 4 is the fourth and final video release for Initial D Second Stage. It includes Acts 11 through 13 of the anime and was first released on VHS on August 2, 2000, and later on DVD on January 24, 2001.[1] The release features the final battle of Second Stage between Takumi Fujiwara and Wataru Akiyama.
The DVD release peaked at number ten on the Oricon DVD Chart with an estimated 9,038 units sold in its first week.[2] It remained on the charts for a total of 4 weeks, with total sales estimated at 15,347 units.[3][4] Meanwhile, the VHS release peaked at number twenty on the Oricon Sell-Video Top 50 Charts with an estimated 1,185 units sold in its first week.[5] It remained on the charts for a total of 3 weeks, with total sales estimated at 2,418 units.[6]
