Initial D Volume-1 is the first DVD video release for Initial D First Stage. It includes the first 2 Acts of the anime and was released on March 29, 2000.[1] The DVD features the first battle of the series with the impromptu battle between Takumi Fujiwara and Keisuke Takahashi.
The release peaked at number eight on the Oricon DVD Chart and remained on the charts for a total of 6 weeks, selling an estimated 5,232 units.[2][3]
