Initial D Volume.02 "vs R32" is the second non-rental VHS video release release for Initial D First Stage. It includes Acts 6 through 10 of the anime and was released on January 13, 1999.[1] In line with the title, the VHS features the battle between Takumi Fujiwara and Takeshi Nakazato, as well as the other impromptu battles that preceded it, and the beginning of Takumi Fujiwara's impromptu battle in the AE85 Levin.
The release peaked at number ten on the Oricon Sell-Video Top 50 Charts with an estimated 1,759 units sold in its first week.[2] It remained on the charts for a total of 2 weeks, with total sales estimated at 2,190 units.[3]
