Initial D Volume.05 "vs FC3S" is the fifth and final non-rental VHS video release release for Initial D First Stage. It includes Acts 21 through 26 of the anime and was released on April 7, 1999.[1] In line with the title, the VHS features the final battle of First Stage between Takumi Fujiwara and Ryosuke Takahashi, and features the battles preceding it such as Keisuke Takahashi's battle against Takeshi Nakazato and Takumi Fujiwara's against Kenta Nakamura.
The release peaked at number seven on the Oricon Sell-Video Top 50 Charts with an estimated 2,216 units sold in its first week.[2] It remained on the charts for a total of 3 weeks, with total sales estimated at 4,093 units.[3]
