Itsuki Tachibana is a character from the 2005 Hong Kong movie, Initial D.
He is the leader of the Akina SpeedStars and drives a Nissan Silvia (S13). He loses to Takeshi Nakazato of the Myogi NightKids in a battle on the Akina downhill, which lead to him crashing his S13 into a guardrail. After Takumi Fujiwara makes his debut in a battle against Takeshi Nakazato, he purchases a broken Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (AE86).
Differences[]
Their are several difference between him and his anime and manga counterpart:
- In the main series Itsuki is not the leader of the SpeedStars, with the leader instead being Koichiro Iketani
- Itsuki drives a Toyota Corolla Levin SR (AE85) with Iketani driving the Nissan Silvia S13
- Itsuki is not the son of Yuichi Tachibana in the main series, with his parents being separate characters
