Arcade Stage Tuning[edit | edit source]

Cars can be upgraded with different parts, both internal and external, to make the car perform better. The early games offer the player a choice between several courses of upgrades that they would like their car to have, whereas later games give a wider range of options, with players being able to pick what upgrades they want whenever they want them.

Arcade Stage 1, 2 & 3 + Special & Street Stage[edit | edit source]

  • A Course (Kyoichi Sudo) (Initial D) - Muffler, Sticker, Misfiring System (Version 2 & 3) (A glitch can occur if you change your muffler after acquiring the misfiring system that causes you to lose it until you change your parts course)

  • C Course (Version 2 & 3) (Enkei, Creative Sports) - Wheels, Muffler, Rear Spoiler, Windows
