The Nissan Fairlady Z (S30) is part of the first generation of the Nissan Z Car line. It is often known simply as the Fairlady Z, the Z, the S30 or as the S30Z. It was sold outside of Japan as the Nissan 240Z or the Datsun 240Z.

The Nissan Z-Car is a series of sports cars produced by Nissan since 1969. All Z-Car models have been released in Japan under the Fairlady Z name, and as other names in the rest of the world. The S30 was part of the first generation of the Z-Car.
