Saori (沙織 Saori) is an anime exclusive character who appeared only in First Stage. She is a friend of Natsuki Mogi, as well as the brief love interest of Itsuki Takeuchi.
History[]
When Takumi asks Natsuki if she could bring a friend of hers for a double date with Itsuki, she chooses to bring along Saori. The four drive in Itsuki's Eight-Five, and Saori asks Itsuki about being a street racer. At the field, Itsuki and Saori ride on some horses, and get along well. After the date, Itsuki drops the girls off, and Saori says that she'd like to see him again.
Sometime later, Itsuki calls Saori and invites her on a trip to Lake Akina.
Itsuki picks up Saori from the bus stop, and the two head up to the lake. The two take a cable car up the mountain, and view the sights. They later row out onto the lake and Itsuki talks more about being a street racer. While Saori is staring off at the mountain, Itsuki moves in for a kiss, but Saori moves away and Itsuki trips, falling into the lake. The two drive home in silence, until Shingo Shoji pulls up behind them. Shingo bumps into them, having mistaken Itsuki's Eight-Five for Akina's Eight-Six. Itsuki tries to race against Shingo, but being inexperienced with street racing he gets into an accident, colliding with the guardrail.
The accident left Saori shaken, with her being unable to think about much else. She decides that it won't really work out between the two of them, and breaks it off.
