Satake's Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV RS (CN9A), known as the Lan Evo, or as the Evo IV, is one of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolutions of the Emperor team owned by Satake.

History[]

Satake and Ren Nogami were sent by Kyoichi Sudo on an expedition to Usui to scout the area. On hearing the the recent sweep on Gunma by the Emperor and their arrival on Usui, Mako and Sayuki of Impact Blue set out to defend their home turf. On reaching, Satake mocks at the fact that Impact Blue's fastest drove a SilEighty and were women drivers. Angry on hearing those, Mako accepted the challenge on a battle. Ren warns Satake on not to battle as they were not to sent to battle, but Satake tells him with confidence that a little battle with them won't make him lose. Impact Blue takes the lead as Satake chases them as soon as the battle began. Satake keeps up with them using the advantages of his AWD Lan Evo, but soon began to lose ground as Impact Blue began to pull away. Satake tries to catch up with them on the C-121 corner, but loses grip and his brakes were worn out, making him understeer and crash into the guardrail on the outside and spin out, losing the battle. 1. Never mentioned at any part of the series, however it is most likely presumed Satake's Evolution IV is an RS trim as the vehicle doesn't feature fog lights (In the Manga) and tail lights garnish just like the actual Evolution IV RS.
  2. The RS trim of the Evolution IV was only available in Scotia White, Satake's Evolution IV is likely repainted.
