Seiji Iwaki (岩城 清次, Iwaki Seiji) is a character from the 2005 Hong Kong movie, Initial D.
He is a member of Team Emperor and drives a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV RS (CN9A).
History.[]
He is first shown during the latter half of the film where he discovers a white Toyota AE86 driven by Itsuki Tachibana, believing it to be Takumi's. He later bumps into it and stops over at a nearby guardrail. Seiji then discovers that the AE86 is Itsuki's and taunts them to "go to bed" before driving off. However, he lures Takumi and Itsuki once more to another construction barrier which results in them crashing. Seiji taunts both of them once more, calling the AE86 junk, angering both of them as Takumi decides to borrow Itsuki's AE86 to get back at him. Seiji loses the race when Takumi swerves the AE86, resulting in Seiji spinning out the Evo and crashing it to another guardrail.
Seiji later rides in Kyoichi Sudo's Evo III and begins to spot Takumi in his AE86, telling Sudo to challenge him. This results in Sudo gaining the lead over Takumi and causing the Eight-Six to blow its engine. Seiji then arrives at the crippled Eight-Six, stating that it is a "delivery car, not a race car".
During Takumi's race against Ryosuke and Kyoichi, Seiji acts as the countdown organizer for the battle. He later gets disappointed when Kyoichi totals his Evo III and loses the race.
