Shomaru Pass (正丸峠 Shomaru tōge) is a mountain pass located in Hanno, Saitama, south of Sadamine. The home course of Wataru Akiyama. It is perhaps well known for the Okumura Teahouse (奥村茶屋 Okumura Chaya), a place where the characters gather before the race.
Trivia[]
- Despite this course's appearance in the early Arcade Stage games, it has yet to appear in a new title after Arcade Stage 3/Street Stage.
- This could be due to how narrow the road is, making it difficult for races.
- As of 2024, Shomaru Pass has been closed due to slope collapse.[1]
