Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D Fifth Stage D Selection Vol. 2 is a Eurobeat compilation album and the forty-seventh soundtrack album for the Initial D series. Released on June 14, 2013, by Avex Mode, the album consists of songs featured in Acts 6 through 14 of Initial D Fifth Stage.
Notably, the album excludes several tracks, including "Wait For You" by Ace (Act 11), "Rain" by Mistika (Act 12), "Face The Race" by Powerful T. (Act 13), and "The Top" by Ken Blast (Act 13). These songs were later released on Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D Fifth Stage Non-Stop D Selection Vol. 2 and later Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D Final D Selection (with the exception of "Wait For You").
Like previous Fifth Stage D Selection albums, many tracks on the album were not featured in Fifth Stage. Of the songs, only "Nonsense Sensation" by Paul Harris appeared in Initial D Arcade Stage 8 Infinity, while the others did not feature in any other Initial D media.
The album peaked at number sixty-seven on the Oricon Weekly Album Chart with an estimated 1,019 units sold in its first week. It remained on the charts for a total of 2 weeks, with total sales estimated at 1,400 units.[1][2]
