Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D Second Stage D Selection 1 is a Eurobeat compilation album and the ninth soundtrack album for the Initial D series. Released on December 1, 1999, by Avex Trax, the album consists of songs featured in the first nine acts of Initial D Second Stage. Despite being labeled D Selection 1, it is the only D Selection album for Second Stage, with additional songs from later acts released on Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D Super Euro-Best.
The album peaked at number fifteen on the Oricon Weekly Album Chart with an estimated 30,620 units sold in its first week. It remained on the charts for a total of 10 weeks.[1][2]
