Toru Suetsugu's Eunos Roadster (NA6CE), known as the Roadster, is the signature vehicle of Seven Star Leaf member Toru Suetsugu.
History[]
Seven Star Leaf were the first team that Project D were up against in Tochigi, with Toru Suetsugu representing the team on the downhill, going up against Takumi Fujiwara. Toru starts the battle in the lead, with Takumi following behind. Takumi manages to keep close behind Toru until they reach a section of the course with lidless gutters. Takumi attempts to pass Toru in the corners, performing a weight shifting technique to let him drive using over one of the lidless gutters in order to pass. Toru, shocked and confused as to how Takumi had passed him, watches as Takumi performs the trick again. Believing that his car would also be able to perform the trick, Toru attempts to cross the gutter, however he fails, causing his wheel to fall into the gutter and making the car flip, costing him the race. After his race, Toru quits racing, fulfilling a promise he had made to his girlfriend, Nao.
Specs[]
The car is a Eunos Roadster, chassis code NA6CE. It is painted in Classic Red. In the early Arcade Stage games, it is depicted as a Eunos Roadster S-Special.
Engine[]
The Roadster is fitted with a B6-ZE(RS), a naturally aspirated engine. Toru had increased the displacement of the B6 from 1600 to 1800[1]. It had a maximum output of 190PS[2]

Trivia[]
- The Tokyopop and Kodansha USA versions of the series incorrectly refer to this car as a B6, which is the name of it's engine. This is best seen in the Car stat pages.
- The car stat pages also incorrectly call the engine an NA6C, the chassis number of the car.
