The Toyota 86 is a sports car produced by Toyota since 2012. The 86 series gets its name from the Toyota AE86, and is viewed as the successor to it.
The Toyota GR86 was introduced in 2021, shortly after the introduction of the second generation Subaru BRZ. The GR in the name stands for Gazoo Racing. The RZ was the highest available trim at launch.
