The Toyota MR2 G-Limited (SW20) is part of the second generation of the Toyota MR2. It often known simply as the MR2 or by its chassis code "SW20".
Information[]
The Toyota MR2 is a two-seat, mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive sports car. There were three generations of the MR2, running from 1984 to 2007. The SW20 is the second generation of the MR2.
The G-Limited was a trim level of the SW20, it was the higher-specification naturally aspirated model. It came with electric folding mirrors, steering fog lamps, and a rear spoiler.
The model featured in the series is a Revision III (released from 1994 to 1995).
Notable Users[]
- Ken Kogashiwa owns a Strong Blue Metallic Toyota MR2 G-Limited SW20. It was used by his son, Kai Kogashiwa, before he became a professional racer.
- Fumihiro is seen with a grey Toyota MR2 in Act 11 of First Stage.
- Miyahara drove a Super Red II Toyota MR2 SW20, which he used as part of the Myogi NightKids.
- Akio is the owner of an MR2 as a member of the Myogi NightKids in the manga.
- A blue SW20 similar to Kai’s can be seen a few times during Fourth Stage and Extra Stage 2, either as a traffic car and also being used by the Northern Saitama Alliance.

Cars can be upgraded with different parts, both internal and external, to make the car perform better. The early games offer the player a choice between several courses of upgrades that they would like their car to have, whereas later games give a wider range of options, with players being able to pick what upgrades they want whenever they want them.
